Major depressive disorder Usual dose: 10 mg once daily, may be increased to max of 20 mg daily. Usually 2-4 wk are necessary to obtain antidepressant response.
Panic disorder w/ or w/o agoraphobia Initially 5 mg for 1st wk before increasing the dose to 10 mg daily, max of 20 mg daily.
Social anxiety disorder Usual dose: 10 mg once daily. Usually 2-4 wk are necessary to obtain symptom relief, may be decreased to 5 mg or increased to max of 20 mg daily.
GAD Initially 10 mg once daily, may be increased to 20 mg daily.
OCD Initially 10 mg once daily, may be increased to 20 mg daily.
Mild or moderate hepatic function Initially 5 mg daily for 1st 2 wk of treatment, may be increased to 10 mg daily.
